Future Schools Project Award Competition
Learner voice is very important to City of Edinburgh Council so we developed a competition through our Future Schools Project to ask our learners how they would improve their learning environments.
We will be exhibiting the five finalists’ entries for the Future Schools Project Award competition which aims to promote learners as designers of their own learning environments. This competition was open to all City of Edinburgh Council nurseries and schools. Learners were asked to design a space in their school or nursery that would improve teaching and learning, inclusivity and wellbeing with the winning school having their design developed with a project team and created in their school.
The finalists are Broughton High, Corstorphine Primary, St Cuthbert’s RC Primary, St John Vianney RC Primary and Murrayburn Primary and the winner will be announced on the Keynote Stage.
Please come to stand G20, talk to the learners and see their designs and cast your vote by 12pm. The entries will be exhibited for the entire conference to showcase the learners’ hard work, research and informed designs.
