Kinnaird Primary School
Kinnaird Primary School is the largest primary school in Falkirk Council, situated in Larbert. It has over 650 pupils in the mainstream, expanding each year from its opening 11 years ago, to now have 24 classes from P1-7. The school has a large main building, a separate P1 area and 8 modular unit classrooms. The school has been on a digital journey over the past few years and received their Digital Schools Scotland award in June 2019. It now has 12 accredited Apple Teachers.
Digi Leaders play a massive role in the life of KPS. We currently have 40 pupils from P5-7 who help facilitate our digital learning. They currently lead at assembly, teach other pupils, and recently have lead our staff training at a ‘Tekkie Brekkie’.
Andy Denholm (Principal Teacher) leads ICT within the school as part of his wider remit. He is an Apple Teacher and has overseen the schools ICT development over the past four years, ably supported by two staff co-ordinators.
