Landscape Institute Scotland
Rachel Tennant is a Fellow of the Landscape Institute and Honorary Fellow of the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland. She has worked in both public and private practice and co-founded the award winning practice TGP Landscape Architects in 1994 with offices in Glasgow, Newcastle and Hong Kong. Her specialisms include urban realm and design for education. She has co-authored 3 books on Landscape Architecture and taught professional practice for Landscape Architects for 30 years both in the UK and Hong Kong.
In 2016 Rachel became Chair of the Landscape Institute Scotland. The LIS represents the members of the landscape profession in Scotland who include landscape architects, planners, managers and scientists. Our vision is to promote and create great places – places that are beautiful, multi-functional, sustainable and embedded in Scotland’s communities.
