After 30 years of construction experience, with an academic background in building acoustics and property surveying, Shane has spent the last eight years immersed in the UK and Irish education sector for Saint-Gobain Ecophon. Working with some of Europe’s best acousticians and audiologists has given him valuable insight into the importance of a good acoustic environment in our classrooms and innovative learning environments.

Shane is part of the Ecophon team working with the world’s largest education environment research programme, ILETC. The Innovative Learning Environments and Teacher Change research for the Australian states and New Zealand government is coordinated by Prof. Wesley Imms at the University of Melbourne.
